Last week, I was in Tucson, Arizona to attend the annual gem shows. The city hosts more than 40 different events related to gems during the month of February. I always love foraging for unique stones and crystals and I always try to create a few pieces for myself while I'm there. Here's what I found:

It's always more fun to have a shopping buddy, and while in Tucson I met up with my friend, designer KC Sukamto to help her find new stones for her new jewelry line. KC is a former fashion stylist with an impeccable eye, and her designs are already getting international attention. I just wrote about her for the February issue of Angeleno magazine.
